3 Tricks to Baby Your Backside after a Brazilian Butt Lift

After your Brazilian butt lift, you’ll need to take it easy while your body recuperates from your procedure. Keep these three tips in mind for a more comfortable backside during your Brazilian butt lift recovery.

1. No Sitting

As a general rule of thumb, try not to sit down directly on your buttocks during the first month or so of your Brazilian butt lift recovery. Whenever possible, try to take pressure off your backside by lying down on your stomach or side.

If you do need to sit, make sure you use a cushion or special seat like a boppy pillow to ease pressure, and try to sit only for about ten minutes at a time during the first few weeks after your BBL.

After about 3 to 4 weeks, you should be able to sit normally following a Brazilian butt lift.

2. Stay Ashore

During your recovery period from your BBL, avoid swimming or taking a dip in the hot tub. This should help to minimize the risk of infection and other complications while your body heals.

3. Limit Your Workout Routine

Avoid direct sunlight and tanning after your Brazilian butt lift to help reduce the appearance of scarring.

You’ll need to stay out of the gym for a few weeks after your Brazilian butt lift and keep strenuous exercises to a minimum until you get the okay from Dr. Andan. This goes for squats, stretches and even daily activities that might put unnecessary strain on your backside.

If you have any questions or concerns at all after your Brazilian butt lift, don’t hesitate to contact Dr. Andan’s office.
